´´the first gig is done. the show last night in denver was a lot of fun. even when the power onstage completely went out, it went out in between 2 songs, so the set wasn’t interrupted, even though i had to talk about nothing for a minute and our crew lost their minds trying to fix the problem. yesterday also saw the introduction to the tour of one mr james ingram. yes that’s right, our friend james from the morning zoo is out on the road. this is his first tour ever and he’s out here working with paul wall (you may know him as “the people’s champ). we had a lot of down time during the day yesterday, since everything was set up and ready to go from the rehearsal the day before, so we went and did what all bands do on tour with their down time. we went to the mall. i got a coffee machine for the bus. now all i need to do is learn how to make cappuccinos and i’ll be set. all the bands and crew on the tour are cool. it’s going to be a fun summer.
now we’re in kansas city. we had breakfast at a waffle house, and we’re at the venue in kansas city for the show tonight.´´ mark hoppus
